You can connect your Gmail account to Gryffin and have the ability to read, reply, and archive emails within Gryffin.
To connect your Gmail account, click on Inbox and the system will ask you to validate your account with Google. Follow the steps and authorize Gryffin to have access to your emails.
Can I connect non-Gmail accounts to Gryffin?
At this time it is not possible to connect non-Gmail accounts to Gryffin.
In order to attach an email you will have two options :
Login into your Gmail Account: You will need to login to your gmail account. Open your email, and you can select an email using the checkbox. At the top, you’ll see the Gryffin logo.
If you are inside of an email, you can also select an email by clicking on the dotted line on the right. From the drop down select “Add to Project”.
A new box will pop up and you will have the option of either finding an existing project or creating a new one. Follow the steps to connect an email to a new or existing project.
On your inbox from the tool: You will have the ability to attach emails to a project. Open your email, select the email you would like to attach and click on the box with the arrow pointing up next to the email:
Attach the email to a new or existing project, and click on “Ok”.
After the email is attached, you will be able to see it within the project under the Messages tab:
Can I mark an email as a favorite?
Just as you would with Gmail, you can select the star to favorite an email, and it will also appear starred in your Gmail account.
Click on checkbox next to the email(s) you wish to archive, and click on the archive icon above your emails.
You’ll get a list of the folders you’ve created in your Gmail account. Select the folder you wish to archive your emails to by clicking.
Yes, you can label emails in the same way you do with Gmail.
Click on checkbox next to the email(s) you wish to label, and click on the label icon above your emails.
You’ll get a list of the labels you’ve created in your Gmail account. Select the label you wish to use by clicking on it.
Yes, your Gryffin and Gmail inboxes are automatically synced within seconds.
Yes. Open your email, select the dotted line on the right. From the drop down select “Add to Project”.
A pop up will appear asking you to find or create a project. Click on “Create Project”.
Select the company, module and workspace, and fill out all of the details of your new project. Your project will be created in the designated workspace.
